I received my HydroTail from All3Sports.com this week. As you can see, I attached it to my bike this evening. The Cervelo only has one bottle cage on the uptube. Attaching the HydroTail behind my seat will enable me to have two more bottles with me on rides.

Dude... you have your hydrotail mounted up-side-down.
The instructions said it could be mounted either way. However, it did break when "upside down". So... perhaps you are correct, after all.
